Girls Rugby for the 2022 - 2023 season

Girls age-grade rugby is played at U14, U16 and U18.

For the 2022 / 23 season:

- U14 is for girls born in 2009 & 2010

- U16 is for girls born in 2007 & 2008

- U18 is for girls born in 2005 & 2006.

Our age grade girls train on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8pm and on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:15 (please note that these times are subject to change, both for convenience and to accommodate matches).

Younger girls have their own Minis programme and train on Sunday mornings.

We continue to build our girls pathway with increasing numbers training and playing from Minis through the age grades to our successful women’s first team that is one of only 10 teams playing in the top level Women’s All Ireland League and were winners of the AIL Conference last season.

We will continue to join with our partner clubs, Old Belvedere and Terenure, this year to play as Sharks (U14G), Vipers (U16G) and Panthers (U18G), with other clubs also participating at U18G.

Our parents tell us that their girls find our group welcoming and we aim to build a respectful, fun, encouraging and safe environment, where girls can express themselves through rugby and stay active, healthy and engaged.
